Deadline Extended: New Juried Visual Art Exhibition

26 March 2010 by Lauren in Visual Arts

We’ve extended the deadline for the New Juried Visual Art Exhibition. Back by popular demand, this juried exhibition will showcase work by artists from the Pittsburgh region. The exhibition will take place at an indoor Cultural District gallery during the 2010 Three Rivers Arts Festival, June 4-13, in downtown Pittsburgh.

Works will be juried by a panel of Pittsburgh-based curators. The distinguished jurors are Sarah Hall, Curator of the Frick Art and Historical Center; Murray Horne, Curator of Wood Street and Space Galleries; and Adam Welch, Curator of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and Pittsburgh Filmmakers Galleries.

NEW deadline for submissions: April 9, 2010

Entries must be received by this date.

Answers to some common questions about the exhibition:

  • There is no fee to apply.
  • Submissions are welcome in all media across the spectrum of the visual arts.
  • Artists may submit one to three entries. A series of work meant to be displayed together counts as one entry.
