Visual Art Jurors
by LaurenEach year, we take pride in inviting a diverse and distinguished group of Pittsburgh-region artists and curators to participate in the Festival by acting as jurors for our programs. For both the Juried Visual Art Exhibition and the Artists Market, artists are invited to participate based solely on juror score. A different group of jurors participates in each program each year, bringing new perspectives to each festival’s selections.
The jurors for the 2011 Juried Visual Art Exhibition are:
- Murray Horne, Curator, The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust
- Jason Busch, The Alan G. and Jane A. Lehman Curator of Decorative Arts, Carnegie Museum of Art
- Kate Lydon, Director of Exhibitions, Society of Contemporary Craft
The jurors for the 2011 Artists Market are:
- Laura Domencic, Director, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts
- Barbara Jones, Chief Curator, Westmoreland Museum of American Art
- Keith Belles, Designer, Wax Jewelry Design Studio
